Michelle Lau was the Co-Host for
2013 Ante Up For Autism Event.
She is also the winner of the
Ante Up For Autism 2010 Poker Tournament.
Since hitting the professional poker circuit in 2005, Michelle has had many final table appearances & victories throughout the US & Europe. She can often be found laughing, joking and playing poker with some of the world's greatest poker players and professional athletes and some of Hollywood's elite.
As a professional poker player, Michelle co-founded FIDPA (Federation Internationale de Poker Association) with Marcel Luske "The Flying Dutchman," to unite the poker industry & to ensure the game is played with fairness. In 2008, she wrote "The International Poker Rules" a standard set of fully modifiable tournament poker rules, that is currently used in card rooms around the world.
Today, she continues travels the world playing poker & is currently pursuing her MBA degree at George Washington University School of Business' STAR EMBA program. She was recently granted a Nevada Gaming License & is currently an Independent Casino Host for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. She spends much of her free time being actively involved with various charity organizations including TACA (Talking About Curing Autism), Starkey Hearing Foundation, Opportunity Village, Pros for Africa & many more.
